Hi, so I recently bought Victoria 2, yet for some reason, when I finish the intro video my game crashes and I receive a 'v2game.exe has stopped.

Someitmes these files may need to be unhidden - also possible is that in some hardware profiles, these become lost (insofar as you can't find them) in something called 'virtual store'. One of the methods for shortcutting to these is to use the steam library for your games. Go to V2, right click and select 'Properties'. Now click the local files tab, and choose 'browse local files'.
